Given that you had several
deadlines during this week that have been shifted,
I also made the following adjustment regarding the term paper:
the deadline for the term paper final report is moved to Monday, October 29 at
noon. Please submit your paper by email.
the grade for the term paper will be automatically lowered by one letter grade
(from A to B, from B to C etc) if you miss the deadline by one day

I realized that the deadline for the literature review on your term papers is
approaching. It makes sense to move the deadline for the literature review to
Wednesday, October 10. This will give you some extra time to work on the term
paper. At the same time, if you already made a good progress and can present
your work on Friday, October 5 please hand it in on Friday and I will read them
over the weekend.
I would like to stress that even though I will not grade your term papers at
this stage, it is absolutely essential to meet this deadline because
I will read your works and write my comments. It will get you the opportunity:
a) to get my comments and make necessary adjustments
b) discipline yourself and be on schedule
I strongly encourage you to come to my office hours on Wednesdays, October 10 or
October 17 at 11:00-1:00 and discuss any questions related to the term paper.
