 Lecture notes on chapters 11 and 13 have been posted. Notes are not complete, please check in a couple of days for updates.

Problem set 6 has been posted. It is a little bit more challenging then previous problem sets. First two problems are from chapter 11. The last problem is based on material from chapter13. I will go over similar question in the lecture this Wednesday. The problem set is due on Friday, April 29.  I will also post lecture notes for chapters 11 and 13 later this week

Grades for five problem sets and two midterms has been posted. The number in the first column is the last 4 digits of your student ID.

Please make sure that you have grades for all problem sets that you handed in.

Problem set 5 has been posted. It is due on Friday, April 8.

I also would like to move today's office hours to Friday, April 4. I will be in my office for 2-3 hours after Friday's discussion session. Please email me if you would like to see me. I will be happy to answer your questions before the second midterm.

The first midterm will be held on Wednesday, March 2 during the class. It will take 50 minutes and have 3 problems. The best way to prepare for the exam is to go over lecture notes, problem sets 1-3, and practice problem set 1. Please look at the list of topics that we covered in the first part of the class by clicking here. We will have a review session on Monday. I will go through the review sheet and answer your questions.

Problem set 3 has been posted. I also posted answers to the practice problem set 1. We will have the first midterm next Wednesday, March 2. To assist you, I will be available in my office most of the day on Friday, February 25. Please email me in advance if you would like to talk about the midterm or any material we covered in class.

Next Monday we will have a review session during the class. I will mostly take your questions, so please be ready to with questions about the first part of the course.

The answers to the problem set 1 have been posted. On Monday we will finish Chapter 2 and start Chapter 3 of Katz and Rosen.
